OMG what has happened to this poor car!

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

oooohhh yes.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

.......wrong! That's not a barry'd car, apart from the scoop, anyway....it may look tacky to todays eyes but to my teenaged self in the seventies, it's the epitome of cool ;)

That is more or less how British home-brewed customs looked in the 70's, whether by accident or design on the part of the owner I don't know, but I suspect it's accidental however! Just imagine it with a chain-link steering wheel and some faux-fur inside, and maybe some diffraction tape if anyone still sells it.....awesome!

Agreed. It's just how it was back then. Barryboys is more about Renault Sixes with silly bodykits, like this one:

Now that truly is a waste of Cataloy and chicken mesh! Fetch the bucket.

Blimey, see that lass in the fifth picture of that thread, she'll catch her death in these barely there shorts that fail to cover her butt cheeks properly.
Nice to see that Barryboys is maturing into some sort of cheap Autoshite tribute act these days!
