OMG what has happened to this poor car!

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Some modified cars can look good, others look god awful. This is in the latter category.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

If there really is a V8 in there, the paintjob has still been overdone; if it's a 1098 etc, then eeeoorrrr :!:

I think it's rather naïve of you to think that the DVLA has been notified of the change ;)

I read the description, strange there's no chassis or engine installation pics, but now I really want a "cheery bomb" exhaust.......... very Dr Strangelove!

I see it's on eBay now and, unfortunately, it does have a 1098 engine!

I won't add to that other than note that the seller has got the model wrong!!

Take away that ridiculous scoop, and the oddly positioned sunroof, and it could actually be made into quite a pretty 70's retro custom.....it's nice to know it isn't just some hacked off body panels on top of a spaceframe and V8.

Everyone to their own, to me it doesn't look any different to those things that "Fast 'n Loud" produce that many of you like, they all look like a pile of pooh in my eyes, even those with a decent paint job... Can't stand any mods of that sort myself, but it's down to personal choice and even if I think it looks as ugly as sin I wouldn't knock it...

Notice from the ebay advert that the tax finishes in 900 years time (2913), how does he know that the Gov are going to end free tax on older cars at that point?!

It said as much in the Gumtree and Preloved ads too. ;)

I'm thinking that returning to near stock might be an operation made impractical by the potential difficulty - for a novice - in replacing the Coupé style roof to a satisfactory standard, or maybe it's a good donor for a Convertible build? Do folk still do that?
