Well Brassed off

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Well Brassed off

#1 Post by Grumpy Northener »

Just back from hols - our daily hack / modern motor was parked just around the corner of Paddington Station where the resident parking permit allows me to park on residential streets in this area - the actual area is 'Little Venice' - property here overlooking the Regents canal changes hands for £3 - £6 million quid so I it plonked outside one these regal looking palaces - all the residents club together and pay for private guards to patrol the area.

Well pi**ed off I am then when we return from the hols and find that some idiot has placed a heavy scrape on the front corner of the bumper - about £250 quids worth of damage at a pro bodyshop - I already have the rear arch scraped in a car park and some plonker took the drivers door mirror off the week after - none of them has any balls to admit their poor driving and leave a note offering to pay the damage - really, really brassed off - now got to spend time & money that should go on the classics to square the daily modern up - how the hell do I get on to Room 101 - may be they would'nt go for my idea of extending the show to 2 hours for me to rant about the issues that I have with other members of society listed on a full bog roll ! Suppose it could be worse - it could have been one of the pride & joy fleet that they damaged.

Really sorry to hear that, not surprised you're hacked off. It's happened to us too, a real pain, seems some folk just go around driving by "feel and touch".....

Hope it didn't take the edge off your holiday, but I guess it probably has...

Cheers :D

Give us a break, m8 - it's hard enough to drive when pissed, let alone write a bl**dy note explaining what it was like.
