Although the weird metric tyres on Miss Rusty's Metro are new and unworn (I was lucky to come across a full set in a tyre-bay clearout) I've bought a set of 13" MG cross-spokes to avoid any tyre supply problems in the future. They won't be going on for sometime yet but I will need nuts for them.
Question is, does anyone know the nut seat angle? I'm pretty sure it's 60 degrees and I think a set of Grayston SN45's will do the job- these are 3/8" unf sleeve nuts with a 60 degree seat and sold in motorsport places as suitable for mini/metro alloy wheel use, but it would be nice to know for definate.

I did see those but his description was a bit vague and they're way to expensive! What confused me is that I thought the earlier Mk1/2 Metro had different studs to the Rover 100 version and the nuts weren't interchangeable....but he seems to be saying they are all the same and will do an MGF as well- if that's the case then MGF nuts are cheap as chips.

Mk3 (rover metro /100) maestro /montego/200/400/600/800/mgf, are basically all the same nuts with the same angle.
Mk1+2 nuts are same thread as mini midget and moggy (i think).
I may have a set of 12 at the barn, but would have to check.
problem is the barn is in Yorkshire and I now live in wiltshire, so visits are few and far between at the moment.
