Drive It Day Photos 2011.

I'm afraid I didn't have time to join an organised run this year but I took the Traveller out for a spin before work.

Mine is off the road at the moment, so I wasn't able to take it out. But to cheer myself up I gave it a very thorough clean.

Went out with the Borders Vintage Auto Club for a run on Sunday. Here's a couple of pics.

Looks very nice :D . I take it that is "Borders" as in Scotland :?: I only ask as that mountain, in the second photo, looks a bit like the Skirrid, which is near the border of Monmouthsire and Herefordshire.

Hi Martin

Yes Scottish Borders. That "mountain" is actually the Eildon Hills :D

Not big, just very far away

There's a remarkable similarity between Eildon Hills and Skirrid, though looking at the two pictures together, I can see differences....but at first glance.... :!:

Local legend has it that the Skirrid split (The split is more apparent from the Hereford side) when Christ was crucified.

Did the MK Classic Tour - great day out - gave it a good thrashing round the handling circuit at Millbrook and finished at the Porsche place at Silverstone :D
