Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)
I was a previous PC forum regular and did not know of this site when the other shut down until yesterday when a friend told me about it so I thought i'd re-introduce myself for those who recall me, and for those who are new here.
I'm based in South and South West Wales, am 28 and have long had a passion for classics. My first classic was a Ford Anglia 105E which I aquired in 2002 and sold in 2006 to buy an MGB GT. I am now planning to convert it to a V8 (more in the projects section) so at the moment I have an MGB GT and a Ford Anglia 105E that my dad has given me recently. He has owned this car since 1973 and its been upgraded with 1500GT cortina running gear. It was last on the road about 10 years ago so once I get my V8 finished I will be cracking on with it.
Here is the MGB (Its tattier than it looks in the image)
Am I right in assuming that its a 3 wheel kart trolley in the pics? If so what you got? lol
Welcome back. Matt

Is that a TKM or 100cc? Love the Gearbox. I've got an old Zip Bandit with a Rotax 124 gearbox engine that I'm restoring with the full bodywork. Luckily enough I get to earn money from karting now. Where do you race?

Its a TKM. I started out in TKM in the early 90's and have been so impressed i've stuck with it in S/C ever since. We are still using my original motor and I still have my original chassis in my garage.
I love the gearbox too, its a beast! It does over 150mph which is mental. Ahh the old Rotax 124, I used to run them when I was racing 125's but I have gotten rid of all the spares now. I'm curious, how are you earning money from the karting?
The TKM is not used much now but it goes out at Llandow and Clay Pigeon occasionally but is mainly used in the OEKC at WHilton & Daytona. The Superkart goes everywhere. This year i'm racing it at Silverstone, Oulton Park, Cadwell Park, Donington and if money allows possibly Assen.
I manufacture galvanised trailers for karts, even exibited at the autosport show a while back.
Just nice to do something involved in what I enjoy.
