Angle grinder storage

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Angle grinder storage

#1 Post by zipgun »

Absolutely no good to Rich who keeps all his tools in their original cases.. I for one, have two grinders just left on the bench ,that then get metal filings from the vice , and dirt through the cooling slots, and make internal sparks next time they're used.. I've just seen this ,what a good idea !

I'll stick to keeping my power tools in their boxes - it means that they can come into the house (just) for storage and not left in a damp garage!

The thing I don't like about boxes is that cable storage is usually poor and they aren't designed for UK plugs. I hate tightly coiled cables - they try to stay that way when you're using the tool!
