Found a set of CK splined end sockets, not Torx or 12 points , but would fit a circular hole with "pegs" around the inner circumference . Anyway , what are they called / for ? The owner had a Citroen Visa, are they a special tool for that?

Locking wheel nuts?

Similar, but a set of five or six , in graduating sizes ,on a rail , the largest being about 10mm dia ? Look similar to the end of a first motion shaft in that the clutch disc drives , a round shaft , with grooves milled down it ,equally spaced .

Perhaps surprisingly, there are very few "special" tools required for any Citroën, there's always a conventional way that costs half as much. Most things are extremely basic on the Visa and the usual advice (unless you're replacing the flywheel sensors on an A-series version**) is "use a larger hammer.."

**If you are doing that, use the hammer gently and with more care!

I'd have recognised that if Mercedes at Coldstream had carried out the warranty work they were meant to do to my Smart ForTwobutnotforonefatc**t! (New driver's seat base, etc. I can't help it, it's glandular, OK)...

I reckon a half decent bodger could fit a Torx bit into one of those, with the appropriate BFH!
