peugeot

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

If they are then I doubt they will do it as well as Fiat have done with the 500. Not that I have an extreme lack of faith in Peugeot to design a good looking car. I think the last one I like the look of is the 406 coupe.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Like the 404, that was a Pininfarina design. Maybe they're doing the new 404.

Both BMC and Peugeot took on essentially the same design from Farina, yet the French version (that 404) had a more efficient engine, especially when the Diesel 404 was compared to the Diesel models of the A60 and Oxford VI, it also had much more sophisticated brakes, suspension, heating and even bigger, squishier furniture than the lovely big sofas found in a BMC product of that shape so if they plan to bring that name/number back on something that even vaguely resembles the older model in at least three of those significant areas of excellence, I'll order one for my next new car.
