Interior Trim Kit

#1 Post by Arcnewal »

I will be looking have the interior of my MGB retrimmed in a few months, possibly October/November time. I've rang around and got a few quotes but I've also been looking Trim Kits. Obviously a retrim will be more expensive than buying the kit and having it fitted but I just wondering whether anyone has had any experience with an interior kit of any kind and are they as good as they look?

I bought the one from Moss motors and had no problem. The vinyl on their replacement dash started to come loose however after about 2 years.

Unless you are replacing rare trim or having custom trim,or going for leather,I would go with a trim kit from a reputable supplier!
And some will do kits in leather anyway!
I got a full original spec interior trim kit for my 1954 MGTF1500 and did it myself!
As long as you take your time, and take lots of pics, and dont be tempted to rush, its quite easy really!
Also depends on your timescale, budget, and abilities!
