I was saddened to hear that Sir Jack died on 19 May. Not only a gifted driver but a good engineer. Rather like the late great Roy Lane (Of hillclimb fame), if the rules stated that you had to build the car, as well as drive it, I think Sir Jack would have been ten times a champion :!:
Rules exist for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.

MG Midget 1500, MGB GT V8, Morris Minor Traveller 1275, MG Midget 1275 & too many bicycles.
