Uh oh...

Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)

Trouble is, everyone watches it to pan it, so it gets decent viewing figures, so they think it's popular. If no one tunes in, maybe they'll get the hint? :?

You aren't missing anything. A "mechanic" with a bad temper and a Canadian "money man" (think wheeler dealers meets east enders but with worse acting and even less realistic prices)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Seems as though everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. There is a new series "For the Love of Cars" with Philip "Gene Hunt" Glenister on Channel 4 starting next Sunday, 20th April at 8 pm

That actually looks quite promising and at least the actor knows his motors. So it says on the press release at any rate. As soon as I have the PID, I'll download that and have a look.

Fire up the Quattro!
(someone had to say it)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.

Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

 MK1 Escort Mexico as it happens, so it could work out just fine, or maybe they'll get to the end of the series and discover that they're all dead and that the workshop is in fact some form of halfway house on the way to purgatory?

You are getting it confused with classic car "rescue".
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
