MK2s never had the slimmer type originally as they were a revision that came with the demise of the MK2, at the introduction of the 240 & 340 in 1967, same with the Daimler from that time so if it's a MK2, then the deeper one with the central "valley" in the pressing is correct, for 240/340s and late Daimler 250s, the slim blade is correct but you could always make like Morse and fit MK2 bumpers to a 240 to kid people on that it's an older MK2.
Surely the best investment potential lies in the direction of originality but for looks? Deeper, earlier style for me every time!
