I hadn't the slightest idea what was happening, at least not before I read the above!
I had assumed that the o/p was talking about Jack Brabham but his middle name was Arthur, which was where my confusion came in.

I wish he were my doggy but Elvis the Boxador is a well known celebrity dog from down there in that Newcastle place, a place where armoured headgear is compulsory for most domestic pets.
