Busy Street Scene Footage San Francisco 1906

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Have we had this on here? Busy San Francisco Street in 1906 with a good selection of motors too.

Dear oh dear, utter chaos the way everyone using the street i.e people, cyclists, horse and carts, cars, and trams have no sense of order the way they are going in all directions. :P

It is madness isn't it. :)

On a slightly different tangent, the link below goes to a film from just a few days / weeks later that shows scenes of San Fran following the 1906 Earthquake. The footage from about 4:10 is the same street. Looks a little different and not so many cars etc :(
