sunshade?

#1 Post by kevin »

what were the external sunshades seen on many classic cars called? (answer is probably a sunshade!)
seen one on an early 60s hillman minx last week and wondered if they were ever available for my '65 singer vogue?
any ideas who made them?

The one I had on my minor traveller was advertised as a sun visor. I don't strongly recommend them as it cost me 5mpg. After I had it on for 6 months or so, while cruising at about 60 there was a loud bang and it vanished. It was a fibreglass reproduction.
