one born every minute

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

I thought this was going to be a thread about you palming off your MR2 on to some poor unsuspecting frenchman ;)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Have you managed to fix the alternator yet?
A Traveller is a really nice occasional car, they are a bit too heavy for the 1098 (fit a 1275 and they are great) and a bit undergeared for modern roads (either change the diff with the 1275 or fit a ford type 9). I suspect as that advert says it is rusty, that it is pretty bad underneath but then again it could be a small hole in a sill that has cost it an MOT. At £1200 it is worth a look if you fancy a project :)
