Hi All,
First time post. Hoping to find some help here. I am looking for an Opel Monza 3.0 GSE. I want to replace one for my Father as a present. He had one from just about new (ex-demo) until about 2005 after it had sat on the driveway not moving for a number of years. My father seriously considered full restoration at one stage at significant cost but could not justify it and he ended up giving it away to someone who claimed they wanted to restore (and would show him it when done) but we never heard from them again. Reg was B400 WBM. DVLA records show this as unlicensed but not sure if that means it still exists, somewhere.
I have joined appropriate forums for this project, I think. I am guessing it is unlikely that I can find that specific car, or even if I could, if I could save it, so I am looking for a suitable replacement. I have seen those that are online but trying to work out the realistic cost ratio's of buying one and having it restored or trying to find in very good condition and paying a premium at that end.
Anyone’s help with advice, knowledge etc on these cars would be gratefully received. I am an enthusiast but I am NO mechanic and would be having to pay somebody else to do the work.

Had a word with the guy. No photo's on the advert.. bit strange but I think he has had up elsewhere. He is down the road from me so will try and take a look.

Hi are you still looking for a Monza? I have a 1986 metallic anthracite black one,garaged from new but has been off the road,garaged since 1990.Totally unmarked,in full working new condt. Would consider selling for right price.
