Out came the jigsaw this afternoon, and a little more work on the front engine mount.


I made the pieces for extending and adapting the transmission mount.
The 2 main plates will be bolted together so a grinder can be used to get the cures correct,
also so can make sure that the mounts holes are spot on.

I then made a start on the V6 side engine mount, where there was a bolt that went through
the top to hold a bracket. This was cut off and moved to where it will be welded and
photographed.


Yes it still needs a little trimming for the belts etc.
My farther will be doing the welding at the weekend, so I have to get all the parts cut & labelled
what goes where ASAP.
Tomorrow the ancillaries!!
Or if the intake manifold gasket turns up, I will be making a mockup of a new intake manifold.
