£10.5 k for a Lada ? well that is strong money - BUT - find yourself one to restore - do a first class / museum quality bare metal restoration on it - replace panels / repair metalwork / high end paint job / rebuild all the mechanicals / retrim / rewire / rechrome / new tyres etc etc - even with doing all the work yourself and it would still not be difficult to spend £10k + :o on parts / materials / sundries / external help such as engine machining / rechroming etc

rich it would depend on what modifications you are on about! There is another mk1 neon
which keeps popping up on ebay but thay has body kits and holes in the bonnet etc.

Mine will not be up for sale until i'm dead and gone! (and it might be Christine that kills me :lol: )

ive not seen the other one.... you must have a value for your car for insurance etc?

How could anyone put a monetary value on such an exclusive automobile though? :? There are many more Ladas in the world than there are Neons with pushrod V6s under their bonnets.

The ungrateful sod they did it for sold it and it was broken for parts.
