Ebay sensors and such like are well known for being duff or lasting a very short time, the experts over on CarMechanicsMag forum always advise against ever fitting them. I had the same with a crank sensor on the wifes Vectra, the ebay one cost £15 and lasted for five miles only! I then found the genuine one from Vauxhall was only £24 and has been perfect for some months. Ebay supplier, same one as above, refunded no questions asked and did not even want it back, which says something.
