Hi,
Is anyone able to help me out with the dash layout on a '71 Spitfire IV? The car was in pieces when I got it and I've mangaed to plumb in the main components, I could do with an idea as to what goes where, I'm pretty sure some of the switches are missing or teh wrong ones.
Many Thanks,
Nick

This kinda thing? (Apologies for my knees being in that photo; I rather like wearing shorts...)
BTW; this is my 1500; so the MkIV is different; but this should be of some use?

Re: SpitfireIV Dash Layout
Hi,
Thanks, for that, it confirms my suspicions. Mine is different to yours in that it has two large diameter holes cut, one on the right of the steering wheel and one just to the left of the centre section. It also has three cut outs on teh centre section, all of which are the size of the headlight rocker switch. I'm guessing they are either for optional factory extras or additions made over the years. Any ideas? (If I get chance I'll post pictures.)

Pictures please; but I have a feeling that it'll be a GT6 dash...lil nicky wrote:Hi,

Your right I checked it out on Google images. Might have a go at making a new one myself using the gr6 as a template.
