technical query

On my 1965 Austin princess limo the fuel gauge reads empty when full and full when empty, I changed the wires round on the gauge with no avail , the tank unit appears to have only one wire on it so its not possible to change, any one got any ideas how to solve this or can a wiring diagram be got for this particular model?

Hello this seems to ring a bell but it was a long long time ago, have you changed anything like the gauge or the tank unit or the battery polarity?
