And there was me thinking that it was the cheese and wine that had a particular french aroma. All that barefoot crushing of the grapes. Not only cheese, athlete's foot too.

never seen anyone crushing grapes barefoot.. they have presses around here :lol:

I'm pleased to hear that, a drop of French red always slides down with ease. But the thought of barefoot crushing doesn't make the red stay down.

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

As to the original question, to qualify for the stage 4 it would have to be homologated to stage 4 which is a very expensive process, it may be possible to fit the entire powertrain from a later stage 4 vehicle with all the after treatment engine management etc then put it through an IVA type test to get it re-classified but the work and cost would again be immense.

This type of regulation is the biggest challenge currently facing our hobby, it may be possible people develop packages for converting more popular cars but the rest face an uncertain future.
