I think the problem is the French. They are all high on cheese, garlic and wine.

We too sold up in London 2 1/2 years ago - a nice one bedroom early Edwardian house conversion - flat on the fringes of Maida Vale - got 5 x what we paid for it and purchased a much nicer 3 bed detached period Methodist Chapel conversion in a great little Hampshire village, fab neighbours, 2 bay garage with loft above - parking for another 6 motors - loads of unrealised potential in the Chapel which we are just on with - still had a decent lump of change out of the move and have never looked back since

I thought that UK-sourced cheese was used - almost exclusively - in the automotive electrics industry over there, in foreign parts.
