Can our TV show help you find your new classic car?

#1 Post by AttaboyTV »

Hello all,

I’m writing from an established TV company with a track record in motoring content. We are developing a new car show and are looking for people who might like to take part.

We are looking for someone genuinely on the hunt for one of the following classic cars-. Ideally, you’ll have a clear idea of spec, year and condition of vehicle you require, plus your ideal budget.

Mini
Fiat 500
Citroen 2CV
Citroen ID/DS
Mercedes W114 Coupe
Volvo P1800
MG BGT

Our team will be on the ground in the UK and Europe and might just turn up what you’ve been looking for.

The show is for a major new channel, and could be an exciting and interesting way to get some help finding your ideal classic, and add some great provenance to its history.

Please let me know if you would like get involved or find out more. My email address is james@attaboytv.com

Thanks for your time and look forward to hearing from you

James

If you MUST have a Micra at least make it a March.

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Ooh-er. Here's hoping we don't have to fight over such a thing. They're still stupidly inexpensive, even the larger engined model with the excellent CVT option, one (at least  ) of which would be mine if an as described example should ever appear on any of the usual car sales plots on the www. :|
Let battle commence and - O/P - please consider adding more options. I suggest this because such a limited selection of cars - that are all very easily found in straight condition for little cash and well known - is bound to have many potential listeners wondering where you keep the standby stock that's already been bought for the job. Have a look through any edition of Jalopy magazine (yes, even the later, A4 ones) and add lots of their feature cars to the list. Please!

What's to fight over? Looks like a Vauxhall Nova. A bland, boring eurobox.
