Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)
My Missus is in with next doors missus and their mates watching it ,I have used the peace and quiet to have a relaxing soak in the bath.
Have you forgotten that once we were brought here we were robbed of our names, robbed of our language,we lost our religion, our culture, our God? And many of us by the way we act,we even lost our minds.
I had planned to go on a scrapyard scavenging expedition today with a like-minded mate of mine. Fortunately, one of us - alas not this one - had the sense to ring around the yards on the planned route to establish - before we set off - whether any of them were open.
So I got the pressure washer out and both the underside of the Dolomite and the surface of my drive are much cleaner now. Shame that Gunk driveway doesn't include weed killing in its repertoire.

Well said. I watched a few highlights, including the Aston drive. It was interesting, good to watch in small doses and raised a lot of cash through tourism and associated sidelines. I neither ridiculed those who enjoyed it nor got out my small-mind kit and found something to criticise. It's interesting to note how many of those who did put it down over here (Northern Ireland) screamed themselves hoarse when Bill Clinton came to visit in the 1990s.
I had to laugh at the BBC this morning whilst interviewing Simon Schama - "Isn't it true that a lot of people celebrating with street parties and the like don't like the Royals and were just enjoying the excuse for a free party?" Of course they were....

Well, I gave in, got the drink and food out, sat down to watch it and find it was on YESTERDAY ARGH! Which idiot decided to have a wedding on a Friday??

She's actually a DILF (Duchess) or possibly a PILF (princess), but no chance for us commoners now that she's got her hands on some wealthy willy. William that is.
