 Wow! An old bus with a beehive haircut.

It's not really that expensive given that it's a going concern and, as such, would start showing a profit before too long if properly managed. I counted 22 seats so assuming that each screening were fully subscribed and that it would stand, say, 14 screenings per week, that would be 308 covers at what? Maybe a tenner each? £3080 in takings per week, less the cost of the fuel, insurance, VED (which wouldn't be free if it were earning) and storage in a building with tall doors, such as a double steading with the grain deck removed. I reckon it could still earn around £2k per week, take off that a minimum wage for the average 28 hours that it would need to be worked, leaving around £1700 plus franchised refreshemnts.
At that rate, it would break even within a couple of years at 50 weeks per year. Image

There's definitely a demand too, especially in areas like Northumberland, Roxburghshire and Berwickshire where the time taken to travel - to Edinburgh, Newcastle, Carlisle or wherever - to see a film in a non-mobile cinema does make it a dear night out.
Worst case scenario; only run part time, halve the takings and lengthen the time taken to show a return by a factor of three or four, bearing in mind that the running costs wouldn't drop significantly. I don't see a downside to this.

Then there's the trailer. Restore that and, because its internals are rendered obsolete by the modern equipment in the bus, get yourself mobile drinks licences for each county and open it as a bar at the interval. Mmm, beer.

For those who want something almost as unusual but with a more reasonable price tag.
Just think how much fun you could have getting revenge on your kids when they squirt you with their water pistols in the summer and you "get the hose" ;)

Yep you could but I think a better use would turn 80% of the trailer to luxury living accommodation & 20% bar and become totally self sufficient - but you are quite right John it would go down very well - better still hire to the rich & stupid for their lawn parties - at a increased premium and drink their beer instead
