So having moved out of London for sometime now we needed to find a local independent garage / MOT centre for the servicing / MOT on the wife's modern + testing on the Rover (rest of the fleet are test exempt) - duly researched and sorted by asking the neighbours. So wife informs me that I have to collect her from said garage whilst her car is serviced has they don't have a courtesy car for Saturday morning - I had not been before but it's in a small industrial estate in the neighbouring town. I do a drive through the estate to see what else is there for future reference (motor factor + automotive panel, paint supplier) has I turn the corner on the estate these are parked up at the front of one of the units

1950's dump truck & loading shovel along with a late 50's - early 60's rigid flatbed - then just driving past and I notice these to the rear of the unit

There must be 20 + Albion, Dennis, Foden, Leyland & Bedford projects - There was no one about so I did not snoop too much - I will call in next time and see if I can have permission to have a wonder around and take some better photos - but always nice to see that someone has a passion in saving the bigger lumps of metal that were once our motoring heritage
