1952 MG: A babe magnet! Seriously.
1952 MG: A babe magnet! Seriously.
Last summer, during the many commemorations of 70 years since D-Day, there was an event on the quay at Poole, Dorset. The whole event had a 1940's flavour to it. The photographer, and fellow MG enthusiast, was there to photograph a 1940's fashion parade. He asked me if he could drape a model or two over the car. He knew the car was a 1952 model but he also knew that it was designed in 1937, and production would have started but for WW2. So he gave it "period licence" and produced some exquisite photos. I love the sepia picture of the model in period dress. I do hope you enjoy my car. By the way, I did notice a member mention The Goodwood Revival. That was me sir, also in the transport corps.
