Blame the Welsh! Patagonia was colonised by the people of that country so they still speak the language and torch the holiday homes.
Sadly, for the surrounding South Americans, Offa didn't get down that way so no big Welsh dyke is available. Maybe the Andes help with that, political geography isn't my bag.

There are a couple of big Welsh dykes living down the road from me JP
Iechyd dda bob cymro. I'll leave out the rest in case there are some over sensitive people from the wrong side of Offas dyke who might stone me at the restoration show in March !!
