Car Shows / meet ups etc

Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)

Car Shows / meet ups etc

#1 Post by kevin »

I must admit that i am crap at spotting car shows and meet ups (usually finding out about them after the event!)
would it be worthwhile us posting up whenever we enter a show so others may enter?

Whats your thoughts?

I thought that's what the "Events/Meets/Clubs" section of the forum was for? I mean, I think most people who want to post about a forthcoming event or one that they've been to do so in there already? :?
Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Only posted in retrospective terms when I have forgotten, then been reminded or dragged to it &
posted later! :?

I do try to post well in advance then usually forget about it myself until I go to post the photos to
the above comment

Err have I not recently posted details for BOTH of next years whitby kustoms & goth weekends?

Ryhope website not showing details of shows for 2015 yet so I can't post them and I always make
sure that the 2nd tuesday of the month is the North east street and rod cara meet(petrol heads
of all types welcome) is posted and IF I attend those photos go up!

But please remember it is the time that people are getting the holidays sorted & then the car clubs
will be at their respective christmas do's (I've missed due to ill health again :( ) and be discussing
next years schedule, so please wait till January before complaining as there should be an idea of
some by then!
