Clarkson was correct to say that only a few, specially-prepared press cars would come close to that speed whereas Quentula hasn't even bothered to research his subject before spouting his usual brand of hyperbole.
The only thing Willson said that came close to the truth about one of his series' subjects was that tactless comment about the Standard Eight, though even then he missed the point by a country mile.

She did indeed. Some said that she always kept a squirrel inside her corset for extra warmth during winter road tests. :D

Can anyone find a link to Dr Trewin's contributions please? And I still want to know when she became a man.
