Mazda MX-5

Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)

He's in France, you will have to use a stale baguette rather than a lead pipe.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Hmm, perhaps we could use a bit of one of those trees and give him a damn good thrashing in the style of Mr Fawlty and the little Austin :?: :)

That read like a cue for a video clip, but I won't, because the topic of the man's thread wasn't an 1100. In red. The rare estate version. Mmmm.

Hi, I have made some research and noticed that Mustangs, Escorts, VW etc.. where produced in much larger amount ( triple/quadruple...) than the Miata NA. Why is there a general consensus that this model will never be a true classic?

As a general rule "what is a classic" questions are banned as they always cause argument. There is no real definition of what makes a classic car and everyone has a differing opinion. On this forum it seems to work out that if you appreciate it as a classic, you will find other people that do too. If you have a look in the members cars section there are vehicles from the 50s to the 90s and other than some friendly banter everyone will happily chat about everyone elses classic car :)
