Yeah, I did actually think it was, but then I googled it anyway and made a cheat of myself. Aw, bugger! ImageImage

It's not exactly a moose from the front either:

Yes it is a Lancia - well done.

Flaminia Zagato super-sport. I once had a Beta for a short while before it dissolved................ it looked nothing like that!

It is indeed one of the only 150 ever made Super Sport variants of the Lancia Flaminia - as built by Zagato. And I want one!

For the moment I will have to make do with my (also built by Zagato) Lancia Beta Spyder

For some reason, when I eventually found the one it reminded me about, it was a much older Aurelia that rang the bell. So somewhere, there must be some resemblance yet putting the two side by side, they're chalk and cheese:

Right then, what's this!

It's not a kit car or a prototype or a one-off, it was a genuine production car, you could order one.....if you had very deep pockets. Unlikely you'll ever spot one on gumtree however!

It screams Lincoln to me but I have been wrong once or twice previously ;)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

 I'm reminded of that episode of The Simpsons where Homer's brother allows Homer to design a car that [the brother's] car factory then launches at a motor show to, erm, "mixed" reviews.
I'm glad to see that money can't buy good taste but will have to work at identifying that grotesque device.

Yep, it's one of the other two of these hideous contraptions, the Mohs (sp?) Safari Kar, built by people best known for their range of floating aeroplanes. It's American, no surprise there then!

Or maybe it is the thing that Homer designed?
