thanks for the advice chaps! im going to order the kit on ebay.. its too much work to change for afew months extra driving... shame i cannot get the starter ring :?

Don't any scrappys near you have used ones? you could always look for a knackered one with good ring gear and swap it over.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

tried a couple of the local scrappys, it was cheaper to buy new :evil:

Have you tried breakersyard.com in the UK? if you can get one cheaply on there if they won't post it to France, you could get it shipped to me and I will post it on.

new kit fitted, truck is running nicely now chaps.. was annoyed the locating pins for the cover plate were missing... managed to fit everything without eating the clutch assembly... just been tidying everything up & found the pins in a tiny packet at the bottom of the box... :oops:
