Thanks! Nope I wont be, I'm gettign a kit this week then doing it on the weekend.

As far as the brakes go the changes were minimal, they were never fantastic!

You could see a significant improvement by fitting something like greenstuff pads or an uprated disc / calliper kit to the car you have bought, but my advice would be drive it for a while and see if you think they need improving, it is very dependant on your driving style.

Even including getting the wheelarches done and getting it rust proffed it sounds like you could have a superb car for way under your original budget.
