But the bigger problem is that there was a small pool of hydraulic fluid in the driver's footwell - fortunately the floor mat is solid rubber so it hasn't gone through to the carpets. The level in the brake reservoir was correct, but the clutch one was right down, so that's the culprit. I topped it up and it works, so it'll be good for the MoT on Wednesday, but clearly I need to replace the seals on the clutch master cylinder.
So to my question: It's been a while since I've bought parts for this car, and I don't want to put carp quality seals in it, so according to your current thinking, who is the best supplier of the best quality seal kits for a 1275 Midget these days? Not being funny, but cost is no object, I just want the best quality I can get, I don't want to be doing this job every year.
Normally I'd go to the likes of Moss, MG Owners Club, MGB Hive etc. but if anyone has any tips on a source of really good quality seals (kit) then I'd be grateful. Don't tell me about any that are on auction on e-bay, I don't do e-bay!
