new thickest guy on earth

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

The error seems to have happened because the national rail operator RFF gave the wrong dimensions to train company SNCF.

Not quite as funny but the factory at work was surveyed before the layout being re-designed and new tooling, etc being ordered. They started installing it on Monday only to find that the plans show the factory as being 8 meters longer than it really is.
Someone doesn't know how to use a laser measure!
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

In Birmingham's Broad Street is a bridge that spans between the Hyatt Hotel and the convention centre. When it was delivered it was almost a metre short, that's why there is a glazed porch at the hotel to make up the difference. It was nicknamed the 'Bridge of wrong size'!

I worked at a company where the Commercial Director ordered a brand new delivery van. 6 wheeler 10 ton capacity it looked superb. Sadly it was too high to go under the loading bay canopy or into the service garage. It supposedly went away to be modified......we never saw it again!

A mate of mine lived on a housing estate where British Gas offered everybody a new gas fired central heating boiler to replace the oil fired ones that all the houses had. One Saturday BG arrived in force and started ripping out all the oil fired systems. They then discovered there was no gas on the estate!! Everybody was then asked to pay the share of a new gas main.

Stupid can't work out how to use a rubber. That's why there are so many of them
Landrovers and Welding go together like Bread and Butter. And in the wet they are about as structurally sound

Biting. It's like kissing except there's a winner
