.....now that used to be the absolute epitome of coooool......
Tested on a Nissan Skyline we managed an impressive 83 BHP increasement on the track !! ( Brands Hatch near Swanley)
-but how they managed to measure this on a track is beyond me! Maybe combine it with one of these for a truly fearsome street beast...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/F1-Z-DOUBLE-F ... 3a901d898b note that this is the double fan version so is obviously superior to the cheapo single fan ones...

It is amazing how many car manufacturers don't include these products in their products. just imagine, Vauxhall could sell a corsa with 4 of those electric supercharger things combined with a couple of daisy chained 30bhp chips and outrun a Bugatti! [/sarcasm]
Seriously, what idiots buy this stuff?!?!
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
Seriously though, a fan like that is the means by which Citroen managed to get the extra 5bhp from the A-series in the Dyane compared to the same engine in a regular Deuche.
J "Home is where you park it", so the saying goes. That may yet come true..

I fear for the mug who sees all these things, buys and fits them and then discovers that the car does less MPG and has poorer performance due to all the extra weight he's lugging around!
I found that sticking a BLST sticker on the back of my Wolseley did as much as any of these "boosters" ever did! There again, I was only 17 or 18 at the time!
ive found emptying all the crap out of my works vehicles makes them more efficient.. when i finally cleared out my old transit i had over 10 kg of stuff just from the drivers door bin.. i put it straight into the new truck
When I was in the age group that this stuff is aimed at, I always found that a pair of spotlights and some diffraction tape had a similar bhp boosting effect....a foglamp over the axle also helped make the car go lots faster- much as my boy thinks that a 'sports' exhaust makes his scooter into a virtual Hyabusa!
