The mechanical fuel pump on Freddie has died, so i'm temporarily plumbing in an electric aftermarket fuel pump i had kept from a previous Jeep. Now, everything i've read says to connect the positive lead to an ignition hot wire (still deciding which one).
Question: I'm assuming that the wire from the aforementioned ignition hot should run through a relay to the pump, rather than directly as the pump must draw a lot of juice through which ever wire you 'borrow'.
Hope this makes sense.
Swapping in electric fuel pump. Question.
Re: Swapping in electric fuel pump. Question.
As you will be adding additional drain to the circuit which it was not designed for, a relay would be a very sensible addition

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I was already sure, but thought i'd run it past my peers.
