ford galaxy

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Is your galaxy one of the earlier ones that just has 2 front airbags or one of the later ones that has 97 placed wherever ford could squeeze one in?
If it is an early one, just pull the lead from the SRS ECU then build up a little circuit to turn the SRS light on for 2 seconds after ignition on.
Personally I hate airbags and have them disabled in all my cars.

My issue with them is when I was a teenager, I was being given a lift home in the front of a friend's dad's BMW, the passenger side air bag just went off without warning and hit me full force in the chest. Ending up in hospital without being in an accident really put me off them!

Not as well built and more expensive to fix than the equivalent Volvo, so personally I can't see why anyone would buy one.

Well, you did ask..... ;)

It's an old German barge. I can't say I have ever owned one but if I was looking for something like that, it would be a Mondeo.
