1983 Elswick Envoy

#1 Post by bruceandem »

Hello,
My name is Bruce Rolland and I live in Redondo Beach, California, I have a 1983 Elswick Envoy car that was made in England. I am looking for books, automobile literature, shop manuals, owner’s manual, blueprints, company records, reference material in any condition, for the Elswick Envoy car, and the Company that made them. I would like to put them all together for a Historical presentation. Any help on finding the information would be much appreciated.
Please call Bruce at 310-376-5985 (United States)

I take it you've already googled it? There is quite a lot of information there. I remember them in the eighties, a local man became a sales rep for them after being disabled in a car accident, so one was often seen around these parts. I believe the running gear is from the Metro Automatic. A clever idea, but I think the idea of being able to drive it without leaving your wheelchair was scuppered by health & safety.
