I it's a shame, IMHO, that there are so few original mini 1275GTs, Clubmen, Rover SD1s and Princesses on Denovos now, but dealers actually took them back and gave owners a set of five standard rims in exchange for the 4 Denovo ones that these cars were supplied with as supplies dried up while the cars in question were still being built.

I had a Princess with Denovos back in the eighties. They were terrible. Expensive, short-lived, huge unsprung weight, hard ride and if you went abroad you had to hire a spare wheel as there was only one Denovo dealer in the whole of France. My car was quickly converted to standard wheels and most other owners did the same eventually.
