Ooh! Rich, it's far too early in the day for me to get this excited! I wish it were some random year between 1984 and 1987 again because then, among my other - older - cars, there'd be a lovely Fern Green R12TL Break parked on my drive that would have some nice period modifications and a sump shield from a Dacia Denem found in a scrapyard. I'm not going to pollute this thread by posting that piccie yet again but if there were a thread entitled "which of the 80+ cars that you've owned since passing your test 32 years ago would you most like to be reunited with if it hadn't been scrapped in the early '90s?"

This past week has been Morris Minor week locally. I've seen the bright yellow one running about as per usual, but there's also a very sweet, Rose Taupe (err, BMC, it's BROWN, OK?) 1966 four door saloon that appeared a few days ago and which seems to be the owner's daily drive, and a turquoise-ish Traveller, equally solid looking, appears every so often in my rear view mirror before it passes me and vanishes. Great to see them earning their living, innit. 8-)

This week I have seen a K10 Micra on an F plate ("champagne" colour, 3 mornings on the trot driving north on the a38) a Morgan west bound on the A50, a marina, 2 minors, a Talbot avenger (I think) and a 1960s roller, All east bound on the A50. I'm sure that nobody parks classic cars when the weather is bad, they just get driven around where I can't get pics.

Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I saw a VW Beetle this afternoon. It had an R prefix, so was either a late import or a Latin American job. It looked like a 1302 style car, in navy blue.

Had to go out lunchtime in my mother's MGB GT. Saw a black Austin A50 (Or similar; a 1950s Cambridge type of car) going past Morrisons Ebbw Vale :D :!:

I stopped to let a young lady out at a junction this afternoon in her early 70s Midget. I can be nice at times :P
