Anybody fancy a bus?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Isn't it strange, I've been waiting ages for a bus to appear on the forum...

Well, be honest, we were all thinking it weren't we?

Who on earth would want a Routemaster! A nice BMMO CM5T. One of the original M1 coaches. They cruised down the M1 at 100MPH in 1959 on a regular service. One of these hit 135 MPH on test. Rubber suspension, independant on the front, disc brakes all round and twin turbochargers in 1959. A bloody Routemaster. Wah!

BTW the T in CM5T stood for toilet not turbo.

Cliff Richards used an AEC RT in his film. A Dodge Charger R/T was a totally differant animal. I want one I want one....
