Mornington Crescent, anyone?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Fraid not..... I think the band I first came to fame with would be described as Alternative Rock. I was a bit of a marxist which had some influence on my music, as well as being a bit of an hooligan.

Nah mate, I'm a bit younger than him by nearly a decade.

I really can't think of a suitable clue without giving it away completely, but I should probably give one anyway.. I'm a Sheffield United supporter, and don't forget the hooligan thing.

My good P, I am indeed Mr P Heaton,

one time football hooligan who ran with the Blades Business Crew but more to the point was known for The Beautiful South and Earlier the Housemartins.

You'll be IT then :D

Hello H,
Do you have a motoring connection?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
