Anyone use POR-15 out of a tin?
I find that lid lip becomes buckled, having opened it many times and fails to seal. I lost about 1/8th of paint as it dried up. On the newly purchased tin I'll be making sure the lid and tin rim is cleaned, and the lip bent back

Re: POR-15?
I'm about to order some from Frost and have decided to go for their set of small tins as they're not that much dearer than the single larger tin but will avoid the wastage. Unfortunately they're out of stock...
Re: POR-15?
Yes I use it on my project not cheap but very good, I always put it in a glass jar after I open the tin for the first time.
No problems then when I need it next time. As it drieds up once air gets inside the tin fast.

After opening it for the first time, put a couple of layers of cling film over the opening then push the lid down on top of this. It'll open OK next time and won't dry out or skin.
I think it tells you this in the instructions IIRC - I do know that it's very important to use it in accordance with the destructions, I usually don't read them, but in the case of POR15 I do, and follow them to the letter.
Cheers

Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.
