NEW word association game

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

WAGs

With regards to the Raleigh, the Special Products bikes were much more highly speced, than the regular bikes (It may well have Campag running gear, which if "Super Record" was as good as it got), though frame alignment was still not brilliant. The classic bike movement is nowhere near as developed, as the car scene, though so long as you don't care about originality, some modern parts will fit but other bits will be more difficult to find, at least in variety (We have managed to find some new/current 126mm rear hubs and friction type gear levers but only from one supplier). The great thing, about an old Reynolds tubed frame, is that provided it's not rusted from inside (Or damaged), it's safe to ride. Most frames are now aluminium (I hate the term "Alloy" being used wrongly.....Reynolds 531 is an alloy; just a steel alloy, rather than an aluminium alloy) or carbon fibre, both of which can become brittle with age, so I can't see much contemporary stuff being rideable in thirty years (Though some people collect bikes just to look at them).
