Mornington Crescent, anyone?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Hey, Bo Diddly? (AKA Ellas Otha Bates). 8-)

(By the way, you did have a motoring connection in that one of your singles was the only one I own that would play from start to finish on the Philips record player in my much-missed Morris Oxford VI. Every other record I tried in that device would either slow the mechanism to a stop or cause its stylus to skite straight over the surface). :D

I was indeed the Late Great Bo Diddly, originator of the Diddley Beat sound. Also known as Ellas Otha Bates or even Ellas McDaniel.

You good Sir, are IT

OK then, I'm J.

Dead, American and not connected to something motoring-related.

Not Jacko, no, but (clue, 'cos otherwise this could roll on while 2017) I was in the same business as him and his kinfolk. :)

Or did you pop your clogs in an icy Lake Monona after a plane crash.

Probably not.....

But how about young Phalon Jones of the Bar-Kays?

Assuming not, did you have anything to do with Punk?
